Did you know that Buffalo’s vote to decide which direction the herd should follow?
The voting is normally controlled by the female buffalo’s and it takes place during resting time. When the herd stops to rest, each female buffalo sits gazing at the direction it thinks the herd should go. Once resting time is over, they get up and they starts moving in the direction that the majority were facing. The vote in normally a communal one and the dominating buffalo’s have no influence in the voting process.
Talk of a transparent democratic system in the wilderness… Maybe we should borrow a leaf from the buffalos.
