CHEBERA CHURCHURA NATIONAL PARK is an untouched wilderness found within the Omo Gibe basin, in the south of Ethiopia and considered one of the most untouched areas of the country. The National Park contains rivers, streams, springs, caves and four crater lakes, providing the perfect habitat for wildlife; endemic birds and mammals, which include the African elephant, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, lion, and leopard. CCNP is considered to have the best ecosystem for the African elephant in the country (within Meka Forest). The landscape of this attractive park also comprises unique and attractive mountains.
