As part of our commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism, we have partnered with the Maanzoni Million Tree Challenge (MMTC), a Kenyan conservation organisation working to restore the Athi–Kapiti landscape for people and wildlife.
Together, we support the restoration of this unique savanna ecosystem through the planting and care of indigenous trees, restoration of wildlife water sources, protection of habitats and strengthening of community-led conservation efforts. We believe restoration is about more than planting a tree — it is about creating healthier ecosystems where vegetation, water, wildlife and communities can thrive together. By supporting MMTC's work, we are contributing to the long-term restoration and resilience of the Athi–Kapiti landscape, helping protect Kenya's natural heritage for generations to come.
We support the planting and long-term care of indigenous trees across the Athi–Kapiti plains, rebuilding vegetation cover and helping the savanna ecosystem regenerate naturally.
Restoring and protecting water sources across the landscape helps sustain the wildlife that depends on the Athi–Kapiti corridor, especially through Kenya's increasingly unpredictable dry seasons.
Lasting restoration depends on the people who live closest to the land. We support community-led conservation efforts that give local communities a genuine stake in protecting this landscape.
